The seminar will give business owners an in-depth insight in to how up-skilling your team with the introduction of a Non-Executive Director or Mentor can lead to scale-up success. Attendees will also benefit from hearing first hand from those who are growing, and have grown, their business with the help of a Mentor or NED and provide the opportunity to hear their stories and ask any questions.

The North East Fund is an investment programme made up of five funds and is available to SMEs across Durham, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear. NEL Fund Managers will provide you with an overview of their two funds, the £18m Growth Capital Fund and £9m Small Loan Fund, set up to invest in growing businesses with a funding gap of £10k – £500k, talk you through the criteria for each and give you insight into what you can expect when engaging with NEL.
