NEL’s City Quadrant office is located on the corner of Westmorland Road and Waterloo Street.

public transport

If travelling by Rail/Metro, the closest station is Newcastle Central Station.  Leave the station by the main exit, turn left and walk along Neville Street (which subsequently changes to Westmorland Road) towards St James’s Boulevard.  City Quadrant is situated at the crossroad of Westmorland Road/Waterloo Street/Marlborough Street, diagonally across from the Centre of Life.

travelling from the A1 north/south

Leave the A1 at the junction for the A184 Newcastle/Gateshead, cross over the River Tyne on the Redheugh Bridge.  Remain in the right-hand lane and turn right at the second set of traffic lights, then turn first left and follow the signs for Grainger Town Multi-Storey Car Park.

parking

The closest multi-storey car park is the Grainger Town Multi-Storey (Newcastle City Council).  When leaving the car park on foot, take the exit which leads out to City Quadrant to the right, walk down the steps and across the piazza towards the Aura Restaurant, walk through the archway under the building and City Quadrant’s door is diagonally across from the Centre of Life.

Please press 15 and then the bell symbol on the intercom; someone will answer and release the door (N.B. there is no buzzer) so that you can enter.  Please take the lift or stairs to the first floor and go through the double doors on the left and take a seat in the waiting area where you will be met.
